Heh, temporary housing. I just agreed to pay the same amount as my mortgage in North Carolina for 682 square feet in an apartment complex off the highway here in lovely Loudon County Virginia, that’s all. A place for me to toss a mattress for however long it takes for my house to sell in North Carolina. Incidently if you are in the market for some fine living in the RTP may I recommend this lovely home, slightly used, with love of course. Wish we could take it with us.
Seriously though, this is one expensive area to live in, and I swear that every builder in the state of Virginia either had a deforrestation party or got together to ask God to scorch the earth so they could toss up as many office complex/condos/apartments as they possibly could. So I have found the first trade off for coming up North, hopefully it’s the only one.
Yep, I found a place to live this weekend, I move in next weekend, and then I start on Monday.
I am sad that my wife and kids won’t be coming with me right away, wait I guess that was the first real trade off — man that blows, but at least there are a couple of Chipotle locations around. I love me some barbacoa, almost as much as I like saying it. “BAARRRRGGH-BAH-KO-AHHH”.
Heh.

Jason,
Holy Crap! Glad you found a place though. Chipotle will be your new best friend. It’s mine! HaHaHa! Later…

It is all good. I am excited and I am sure it will be a great experience, just need to get my feet under me and to get by these little obstacles. Such is life.
Jason.
