Character Animation Crash Course!
July 31st, 2008
I was excited when I heard that after many years of speculation that Eric Goldberg’s animation notes were to become a book, that it was in fact heading out the door. I immediately pre-ordered my copy on Amazon and waited, and waited, and then received a note that they were not shipping them as expected and would I like to cancel my order. This of course was not something I was going to do, I’ve waited this long I can hold out just a tad longer so I kept my pre-order in place. Finally this past weekend I had had enough. I had been seeing all over the blogosphere how Samuel French had copies and Mr. Goldberg doing signings and aside from becoming irritated once again that I no longer lived in Los Angeles I was frustrated I had no sign of my book even being in stock.
So I cancelled my order on Amazon right after ordering one from Samuel French. It was almost fifteen dollars more with shipping but three days later I have my copy and I am tearing through chapter after chapter.
Thanks Eric for sharing your knowledge I can’t wait to get through the whole thing so I can start over again. Thank you Samuel French for having it in stock. And a kick in my ass for for me for having left LA, man I need to get back there.
